Module title = Tutorial: Rhythm Diagnostic Criteria

Lesson title = Re-entry

This is lesson 4 of 14 in this module
Re-entry is not one specific diagnosis. Rather, it is a mechanism that can give rise to many different abnormal rhythms.

Re-entry is a little bit complicated to describe using only words, so please watch the video which will hopefully explain how it all works.

Re-entry mechanisms are responsible for:
  • atrial fibrillation
  • atrial flutter
  • atrial tachycardia
  • AVNRT (AV node re-entry tachycardia)
  • AVRT (atrio-ventricular re-entry tachycardia)
  • ventricular tachycardia
